This you will learn about and get to experience on your private tour, which takes you on foot around the heart of the medieval city center with an English-speaking Gastro-Copenhagener.
The main focus is food – both the old classical Danish kind of dishes and drinks and most certainly also the hip food scene of the capital of the Nordics. In addition, the general history of Denmark and the development of Copenhagen from a small fishing village to a medieval town to a cosmopolitan city.
This 3-3,5 hour private tour will allow for several small stops with some food samples on the way through the city to the indoor food marked Torvehallerne. You will taste: Pastry, bolsjer (candy), fish and meatballs, Danish biodynamic cheese, famous hot dogs, and some controversial samples like “flæskesvær” and “snaps”, etc.
The tour is laid out in an informative and fun way, where there is also room for personal questions.
